Vaden Andrew Eubank

Vaden Andrew Eubank, 82 of Rosemount, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 at Rest Haven Nursing and Rehab Center in McDermott.

He was born December 31, 1940 in Greenup, KY, a son of the late James Jeffries and Mary Elizabeth Henderson Eubank.

Vaden was a retired Engineer with the B&O Railroad and a Maintenance Supervisor for Wal-Mart Industries. He was a 1959 Wheelersburg High School graduate and a United States Air Force veteran and was especially fond of his service time spent in Alaska. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and was of the Cherokee Native American Faith. Vaden loved traveling and spending time at the ocean. He was an avid reader and historian.

He was also preceded in death by sister, Ann Lamb.

Vaden is survived by his wife, Shirley Pence Eubank, of Lucasville, formerly of Rosemount, with whom he celebrated 60 years of marriage on July 17; two daughters, Sherry (Terry) Lens of Lucasville and Lisa Davis of Hanging Rock; six grandchildren, Joshua White, Cody (Marjho) White, Seth White, Misty Hamn, Kayla (Dylan) Frank, and Sierra Weeks; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held from Noon until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville. Graveside services will follow in Scioto Burial Park with Calvin Evans Jr. and Teri Rivera officiating. Graveside military rites will be performed by the William Baker and James F. Irwin Posts of the American Legion.
