Paul Andrew Remington

Paul Andrew Remington, 48, of Waverly, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2023 at Adena Pike Medical Center in Waverly.  He was born on June 26, 1975 in Marlette, Michigan son of the late Royce Edward Remington Sr. and Donna Marie Weimer Remington.  In February 1997 Paul was united in marriage to Emily Blankenship Remington who survives.  Also surviving are his sons, Drake (Tiffany) Remington of Waverly, Logan Remington of Waverly; bonus daughter, Tommi Heid of Waverly; bonus granddaughter, Adilynn and a grandson on the way; brothers, Rusty (Carrie) Remington of Lucasville and Tim (Angie) Remington of Waverly; sister, Becky Shoemaker of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Jarrod (Rhiannon) Blankenship of Piketon and sister-in-law, Amy (Chris) Schneider of Waverly.  In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Mike Shoemaker and a special grandfather, Alvie Weimer.

Paul was employed as a heavy equipment operator at Pixelle Paper Mill in Chillicothe, Ohio.  He was also a member of Bethesda Christian Church and a former Scout Leader.  Paul had a passion for the outdoors.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Dennis Garman officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery on Denver Road.  Family will receive friends on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m.
