Brett Douglas “Doug” Horton

Brett Douglas “Doug” Horton went to be with the Lord on about the 26th of August 2023. Doug was born on the 18th of December 1962 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Frank Talmadge Horton and Helen Louise (Moore) Horton, who preceded him in death, as did his sisters, Lilli Rose Musick and Sarah Jane Wickersham, his wife Michelle and his son Joshua.

 

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Kimberly, two grandchildren, Isaiah and JoshLyn, and two brothers Brian Keith Horton of Lansing, Michigan and Bruce Patrick Horton of Vandalia, Ohio.

 

Doug was a graduate of Portsmouth East High School, and spent his life in the local area. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed the family guitar get-togethers and making music on the guitar, at which he was very good. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

A service will be held at Greenup City Park Walnut St, Greenup, KY 41144
