Roy Lee Shuff

Roy Lee Shuff passed away at home on Thursday, August 31, 2023.  He was 82 years old. He was born April 10, 1941, to the late Clarence and Hazel (Ferguson) Shuff. Throughout his life he enjoyed gardening, tractors, running dozers, animals and spending time outdoors.  He loved getting visits from friends and family especially his grandchildren.  He also enjoyed listening to music. His favorite was Gaither Gospel hymns.

He is survived by two sons, Gregory Lee Shuff, Ronald Lee Sharp and wife Kathy; two daughters, Mary Beth Sharp, Angel Lavonne (Shuff) Silvey and husband John; three brothers, Clarence Shuff Jr. and wife Edna Mae, Clifford Shuff and wife Sharon, Roger Shuff and wife Bonnie; one sister, Dottie Percell and husband Harold; ten grandchildren, Brian Conrad Shuff (Naomi), Ashley Renae Shuff Turner (Forrest), John Branden Hoover (Amie), Christa Ann Hoover Corkins (Caleb), Julian Caleb Silvey (Kelsey), Justin Taylor Sharp (Emilie), Justice Alexandra Silvey Conley (JC), Quentin Daniel Sharp, Josie Nichole Silvey, Allyssa Nicole Sharp; and seventeen great-grandchildren.  He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy, Ted, and Franklin Shuff; and three sisters, Ethel Jordan, Irene Winn, and Louise Wright. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Reverend Caleb Corkins officiating.  Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Wheelersburg.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at DWSwickFuneralHome.com.
