Patricia Sue Nolen

Patricia Sue Nolen, 76, of Portsmouth, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023 at River Run Healthcare Center in Coal Grove, Ohio. Patricia was born July 31, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Nathanal Phipps and Margaret Elizabeth Compliment Phipps. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Bud Nolen, September 16, 2022, whom she married April 4, 1969 in Chicago IL. Patricia was also preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Phipps. Patricia is survived by a son, Scott Nolen; two daughters, Melinda Nolen and Tiffany Nolen; a brother, Max Phipps; a sister, Marjorie Hall and six grandchildren, Austin, Alex, McKenna, Lilly, Ethan and Gage.

Services for Patricia will be 12:30 pm, Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Chris Oiler officiating. Interment will be next to her husband in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North East. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 10:00 am until the 12:30 pm service on Tuesday.
