Christy Lynn Davis

Christy Lynn Davis,76, of Wheelersburg, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Concord Healthcare Facility in Wheelersburg. Christy was born August 1, 1947 in Huntington, WV to the late Melvin E. Johnson and Ilene Elizabeth Gilmore Johnson. Christy was employed at the Carousel Center as a Child Care Provider. She was a member of Rubyville Community Church, the Order of Eastern Star and the Red Hats Society. In addition to her parents, Christy was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Davis, June 7, 2023, whom she married March 5, 1966 in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Jo Davis, stillborn. Christy is survived by a son, Stephen Andrew Davis (Jennifer); a daughter, Angela Dawn Martin (Michael); two sisters, Tamara Harris and Cricket Fransico; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services for Christy will be 11:00 am Monday, August 21, 2023 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Brian Baer officiating. Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery.
