Janet Louise Shockley

Janet Louise Shockley, 79 of West Portsmouth, Ohio passed away Dec. 10, 2022 at the Pavillion at Piketon Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Blacklick, Ohio, Jan. 16, 1943, a daughter of the late Everett Watkins and Louise Corns Watkins. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church, West Portsmouth, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her husband, John Shockley, 2013, brother, Lloyd Watkins, sisters, Helen Brown and Betty Morris.

Surviving are her son, Johnnie Ray (Dawn) Shockley of Minford, Ohio, grandchildren, John Devon Shockley and Dylan (Chelsy) Shockley, brother, Larry Watkins of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, sisters, Katherine Watkins Bailey of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Julie Watkins Potter and Marsha Watkins Floyd both of South Shore, Kentucky, step sisters, Helen Brown of South Shore, Kentucky, step brothers, Wayne Watkins and John Watkins both of South Shore, Kentucky, James Watkins of Portsmouth, Ohio and a host of extended family and friends that will miss her.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022 at the Victory Baptist Church in West Portsmouth, Ohio with Pastor Paul Gibson, officiating. Burial will follow in the Scioto Burial Park, McDermott, Ohio. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022 from 6 till 8 p.m. and one hour before service time at the Church on Wednesday.
