Della McGuire

Della McGuire, 82, of Dayton, formerly of West Portsmouth, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022, at Kingston Hospice in Miamisburg, OH.

She was born August 5, 1940, in West Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Emmitt and Dorothy Armstrong Osborne.

Della was a former nurse’s aide and member of the Community Bible Church in Lucasville.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers; and four sisters.

Della is survived by her husband, Joseph “Buddy” McGuire, whom she married April 4, 1960; two sons, Gregory (Jennifer) McGuire of Christiana, TN and Brian (Dawn) McGuire of Dayton; one granddaughter, Allison McGuire; one brother, Earl Osborne of Lucasville; and one sister, Norma Breech of Fostoria, OH

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the Community Bible Church on Fairgrounds Road, Lucasville with Joey Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call from 1 p.m. till the funeral hour at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
