Robert “Robbie” Wayne Holsinger

Robert “Robbie” Wayne Holsinger, 58, of Stout, died Tuesday, October 3, 2022, at his residence.  He was born in Adams County, on April 25, 1964, to the late Herbie and Mary Taylor Holsinger.  Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Ricky Holsinger. 

Robbie loved deer and arrowhead hunting.  He also loved making arrowheads from glass.  He loved his garden and especially growing flowers all around his house.  When you saw him, he was sitting in his favorite chair on the porch.  He will be missed walking up and down the road with a friendly wave ready.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carla Cantrell; 3 sons “Little” Robbie (Jasmine) Holsinger, Teahl Cantrell, and Shyler (Ashley) Cantrell; 4 brothers Jerry, Roger, Kenny, and Carl; 5 sisters Vicki, Linda, Lena, Suzie, and Tammy; 6 grandchildren Danren, Roschelle, Gavin, Kaleb, Mahayla, and Raelynn, and many nieces and nephews along with friends and relatives that love and will miss him dearly. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Greg Cooper officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 AM on Wednesday.  Condolences may be sent to Rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
