Virginia Duckworth
Virginia Duckworth, 84, died Sunday, September 25, 2022, in the SOMC Hospice Center with her family by her bedside. Born on July 31, 1938 in New Boston, she was a daughter of the late Charles Harrison Whisman and Mary Hildreth Whisman.
Ginny was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Claude W. Duckworth, who died on February 21, 2021; a sister, Lola “Lora” Guyer and a brother, Elwood Waddell.
Surviving are daughters, Claudia (Mark) Phillips and Terri (Tim) Clark; granddaughters, Cassie (Matt) Brooks and Amanda (Brian) Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Kyle, Gracie, Dylan, Presley, Braylee, Blake and Macayla.
A service will be held at noon on Saturday, October 1st, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Brant’s from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday and after 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
