Eddie Lee Evans

Eddie Lee Evans, 86, of Franklin Furnace, formerly a lifelong resident of Oak Hill passed away Wednesday August 24, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 31, 1936 in Oak Hill, a son of the late Edward and Mary (Allen) Evans. He retired after 43 years from Martin Marietta as a Process Operator. He enjoyed Hunting, fishing, golf and collecting coins.
Eddie is survived by a son, Randy Evans and wife Debbie, daughters Paula Currence, Daniel and Crystal (Evans) Adams, Julie Beth Evans (Jug Bug) and Jillian (Evans) Davis; a brother, Danny A, Evans; four sisters, Dorothy (Evans) Munyan, Connie (Evans) Elcess, Rosalie (Evans) Lewis and Brenda (Evans) Howell; grandchildren, Randy Evans Jr. and Lindsey, Heather Morgan, Heidi Watkins and Curtis, Ryan and Nina Kilgour, Dusty and Katie Kilgour, Brittany Stone and Christian, Brandan and Brooklyn Adams; step-grandchildren, Tabitha, Marisa, Jo Kristen, Kaylin, Ty, Angela and several great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marlene (Crabtree) Evans, a brother Donald R. (Dick) Evans; sisters, Linda (Evans) Moses, Jean Evans and Joan Evans.
Private graveside services at South Webster Cemetery will be at a later date under the direction of the D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster.
