Judy “Honey Now” C. Quillen

Judy “Honey Now” C. Quillen, 82 years old, Portsmouth resident, went home to be with the Lord, July 4, 2022.  She was well known for her incredible sense of humor, appearance, as well as the “Lady in Red”.  She was an Eastern Star Lucasville Lodge, Moose, American Legion Post #23 Auxillary, and Portsmouth Eagles.  She was a force to be reckoned with.  Her love of NASCAR was unbelievable, season tickets to Charlotte, NC.  She loved belonging to the Shawnee Boat Club and spending time with her “Family”.  She loved her dogs:  Kingie, Prince and both Great Pyrenese.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Effie Kinker, one brother and two nephews.
She is survived by one niece, Ellen Bridges, her loving and caring friends, Gene & Janie Book of Portsmouth, Mark & Sue Spradilin of Portsmouth, Sharma Brown of Chillicothe,  Dudley Nichols and Julie Barber, thought of as her children, Judy Church of Portsmouth, and her special friend Dave, and her many “Shawnee Boat Club Friends”.
There will be a celebration of life gathering held at a later date.
