Tuana Scott, 71, of Portsmouth, went to be with her Lord surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday evening, June 29, 2022, in the SOMC Hospice House. Born on November 15, 1950 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late James Alexander Baker and Juanita Kidder Baker and a bookkeeper for a private school.
Tuana’s greatest achievement in life was her faithfulness to her Lord and Savior and faithfulness to the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in New Boston.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Randy Scott.
Surviving are her loving son, Josh (Sarah) Scott of Nashville, TN; two brothers, Ron (Priscilla) Baker of Lucasville and Donnie (Dorcy) Baker of Portsmouth; a sister, Patty (Jay) Saunders of Dayton and several caring nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Tauna’s Homecoming will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5th, at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church with Pastor Ron Baker officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive guests at the church 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Memorial gifts may be made to either, SOMC Hospice, Sierra’s Haven or Apostolic Lighthouse Church.
