Judith Ann Allison
Judith Ann Allison, 77, of Minford passed away Tuesday June 28, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born December 25, 1944 in Arcadia, FL, a daughter of the late James and Mary Ann Reichardt Conerlee. Judi was a 1962 graduate of Spring Branch High School. She studied music voice, and bible at Abilene Christian University and continued her education at University of Texas in Tyler, Tx. She was a devoted member of Sunshine Church of Christ. She loved to swim, water ski and snow ski. She loved singing and performed for 6 seasons with Southern Ohio Light Opera. She has also performed with Tyler Civic Chorale in Tyler, Texas, was a soloist with the East Texas Symphony at the Caldwell Auditorium, Angelina Chamber Singers in Lufkin, Texas and the West Virginia Symphony Choral, Charleston, WV. She has performed as guest
soloist with Portsmouth Male Chorus. She was Choir Director for Lakeside Community Church. She was a member of the Minford Garden Club. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Judi is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Allison; children, Paul Evan Allison and wife Leslie of Ashland, KY, John Garrett Allison and wife Angel of Bartow, FL and Darren Green of Chapel Hill, NC; a brother Buddy Conlee and wife Denise of Galveston, TX; grandchildren, Logan, Jacob, Levi, Casey, Reese, Daegan, Mikayla, Gabriel, James and Tavin; great-grandchildren, Oliver and Elise; niece and nephews, Kimberly, Kyle and Jamie.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday July 8, 2022 at Rubyville Community Church with Rev. Calvin Ray Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Mound Cemetery in Piketon. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Thursday at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (Wolfe-Nelson Chapel) in Sciotoville and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.
