Joy was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Holy CCCU Church where she taught Sunday school for more than twenty years. She enjoyed gardening and had fond memories of the Waverly Gardener’s Market where she spent many summers. She loved tending her flowers, looking at Christmas lights and making Sunday morning breakfast for anyone who happened to show up. She appreciated the little things in life and was always thankful for her family. She talked daily about how blessed she was. Her sisters were her best friends, and she absolutely adored her grandkids. She never missed an opportunity to tell them how proud she was of them. They were truly the light of her life. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. 2 Timothy 4:7-8.
The family wishes to thank the NCR Hospice staff for their comforting care of Joy.
