Jason Martin Jones

Jason Martin Jones, 36, of Waverly passed away June 4, 2022 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Jason is the son of Emily Jones and the late Rick Jones.

Jason is survived by his loving wife of 12 years Tiffany (Davis) Jones, daughter Aubrey Jones , 11, and son Dylan Jones, 9, all of Waverly.

Jason was an over the road truck driver. And just recently got hired as a truck driver for Rural King so he could be home every evening for all his kids activities and school events and finally get to spend more time with his wife.  Jason also was an E.M.T. He loved both jobs, though trucking was his calling and he loved it so much, except always being gone so much, so he was all so excited about his new job. Jason was recognized for driving 2 million miles safely driven with absolutely no infraction.

Jason is also survived by a very very special Aunt Tish Barnhart. Jason and Tish were life cohorts, Jason often said his Aunt Tish made his life so much better no matter the situation.  Aunt Tish was always in Jason’s corner. Always!  Also 2 very special cousins Kristen Heffner who Jason loved so very much, and was always so proud of her! John Wells, who Jason loved so much and all their time spent together though he always hoped for more time and get togethers. John wrote to Jason: From God we come and to God we return.  Jason Jones was more than a cousin to me. A bright man with a knack for seeing the world for what it was. He could hold conversations on any topic and leave you with incredible impression. I miss him already. His best friend and trucking buddy, Josiah Burdick, who was more like a brother to him and he loved him so much. Also surviving is his brother, Michael Jones and half brother, Kevin (Mandi) Jones. Nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Wesley) Davis, Dakota Davis, Chase Conkel, Drake Davis, Alexis Davis, Devin, Sidney Jones, Aaron Jones and great niece Eliana Hawkins, who he loved each an every single one of you more than you will ever know! He will always be in your corner and with you! And he is and will always be so proud of all you!

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with private services to be held at the convenience of the family.
Jason loved his tie-dyed shirts and put in his final wishes that any and all who attend his viewing to wear a tie-dyed shirt or bright colors. Jason’s wife and children will be wearing their tie-dye for his see ya later viewing for they got to experience everyday his love for tie dye and blue jeans.
