Lola Harness

Lola Harness, 83, of Lucasville, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022, at SOMC Hospice.

She was born May 2, 1939, in Pine Knot, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Edmond and Carrie Elizabeth Wilson Taylor.

Lola was a former employee of Kinstler’s Market, Valley Schools cafeteria worker, and the McKinley Funeral Home. She formerly was a very active Republican Committee woman in Valley Township. She loved flea marketing and raising beautiful flowers.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Bobby Dale Harness, November 26, 2017; and several brothers and sisters.

Lola is survived by her son, Howard (Kathy) Harness of Rudolph, Ohio; her granddaughter, Tiffany (Thomas) Kinker II of South Webster; and two great grandchildren, Thomas “Teak” Kinker III and Tenley Kinker.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2022, in Lucasville Cemetery with Phil Howard officiating. Friends may call from noon till 1:30 p.m. at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
