Pamela Rose Scott

Pamela Rose Scott, 64, of Piketon, Ohio passed away Friday April 9, 2022 at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.  She was born August 28, 1957 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Ivan Stamper Jr. and Bessie Mae Strawser Stamper.  On August 21, 1980 she was united in marriage to Gene Scott who preceded her in death on December 17, 2018.  Surviving are her daughter Heather (Kyle) Needs of Bainbridge, Ohio; a grandson, Nathaniel Bryce Scott; brothers, Rex (Penny) Stamper of Piketon and Bill Stamper of Piketon; brothers-in-law, Dave (Linda) Scott of Waverly and Glen (Sheila) Scott of Waverly; sister-in-law, Debbie Stamper of Michigan; a nephew, Dave (Martha) Scott of Piketon; her precious Bear dog; and numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Stamper and Mark Stamper.

Pamela worked as an STNA at Countryside Manor in Piketon and in Housekeeping at Pike Community Hospital. Her whole world revolved around her daughter and grandson.

The family will receive friends from 11 am – 1 pm Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.  Burial will follow at 1:30 pm at Mound Cemetery in Piketon.
