It is with profound sadness that the family of Rodney A. Queen of West Portsmouth, Ohio, announce his passing on March 01, 2022 at the age of 57.
Rodney attended Shawnee State University earning numerous degrees, and was on The Dean’s List several times.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman, reader, philosopher, enthusiastic world traveler, and poet. He loved the outdoors and country life.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Hamilton, his father, Larry Queen, his mother, Connie Miller, his brother, Jeff Queen, and his brother, Gary Carver.
He is survived by his daughter, Brandy Markova and her husband Nikolay Markov of Olde Towne Portsmouth, Virginia, his brother, Donny Queen and his wife Barb Queen of Sevierville, Tennessee, his brother, Alfred “Ray” Queen of Portsmouth, Ohio, his sister, Marlena Queen and her soulmate Linda Gilland of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, his sister, Tammy Perry and her husband Darryl Perry of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and his sister Tiauna Queen of Columbus, Ohio.
Rodney also has 12 nieces and nephews, 9 great nieces and nephews, as well as countless aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends.
We have lost a wonderful and caring man and will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
