Cheryl Lee Hance, 65, of Lucasville, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022, at Adena Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 20, 1956, in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Thomas Bowen Jr. and Rose Marie Hardin Bowen Ramey.
Cheryl was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse for Franklin County MRDD and HAB Services. She was a 1974 Eastern High School graduate, received her L.P.N degree from Shawnee State University and received an Associate Degree from Columbus State University. Cheryl was a follower of Christ.
She was also preceded in death by one grandson.
Cheryl is survived by four daughters, Christina Johnson of Dublin, OH, Tiffany R. Hance of Chillicothe, Frankie (Jason) Thomas of Columbus, Charmaine (Rodney) Martin of Columbus; three sons, Nathan Johnson, Donald J. Johnson, and Barry (Antionette) Carter all of Columbus; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; four brothers, Boyd and Ray Bowen both of Virginia and Kenneth and Emory Bowen both of Ohio; three sisters, Brenda Tomlison of Ohio, Eileen Boyd of Virginia, and Loyce McVey of Ohio.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with David Malone officiating. Burial will follow in Bowen Family Cemetery. Friends may call 11:30 a.m. till the funeral hour.
