Helen Louise Lintz Raike

Helen Louise Lintz Raike, born August 27, 1923 went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at age 98. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.

She started out working at the Selby Shoe Company in 1944, where she met her husband, Ernie. She then worked at the New Boston Shake Shoppe for 50 years and retired at age 89. She was a member of Long Run (Charity) Free Will Baptist Church in Clarktown, since 1951 and drove herself until March 2020.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert Stanley Lintz and Kizzie Ann Chandler Lintz; her brothers, Carl Lintz, Albert Lintz, Charles Lintz, Lavon Lintz; her sisters, Herma Lintz Adkins, Sally Lintz Cantrell, Edna Lintz Newell, Juanita Lintz Gray, Charlene Lintz White, Jean Lintz Underwood, and her husband, Ernest Leo Raike of 37 years, who passed February 17, 1981.

She is survived by her sisters, Betty Childers, Norma Adams of Clarktown; her only child, Patricia Ann (Lee) Justice of Franklin Furnace; three grandchildren, Shawna (Billy) Hamilton of Franklin Furnace, Brenda (Ben) Baldridge of Ironton, Ryan (Alisha) Justice of Lebanon; four great grandchildren, Tanner Baldridge, Brelan Baldridge, Olivia Justice, Sam Justice; three step great grandchildren, William Hamilton, Graci Hamilton, Jacin Hamilton, and many nieces and nephews. Her legacy will live on through each and every one of them.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with George Vastine officiating. Burial will be in Bennett Cemetery in Minford.
