Sharon Kay Lore

Sharon Kay Lore, 62, of Sciotoville, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 at SOMC in Portsmouth.  She was born April 9, 1958 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Warren and the late Flora (Mowery) Cooley.  Sharon loved her family, they affectionately called her, Memaw, Sha Sha and Sissy.  She loved going to the beach and spending time scrapbooking, journaling, and painting.

Sharon is survived by her father, Warren Cooley of Sciotoville; a son, Darrell Ryan Lore and wife Teah of Portsmouth; a daughter, Heather Meadows and husband Daniel of Portsmouth; a brother, Tony Cooley of Portsmouth; a sister, Tammy Lake of Portsmouth; four grandchildren, Ana Meadows; Owen Meadows, Cayden Lore, and Hunter Lore; a special friend, Robert Leal of Sciotoville; nieces, Jessica O’Conner and husband Charles of Portsmouth, Faith Cooley of Portsmouth, Abbigail, O’Conner, Mackenzie O’Conner, Samson O’Conner, and Jennifer King of Portsmouth; a nephew, Joshua King and wife Andrea of Wheelersburg.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Flora Cooley.

Funeral Services will be held 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (WOLFE-NELSON CHAPEL) in Sciotoville with Pastor Mike Simpson Officiating.  Friends may call one hour prior to the services on Friday.  Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickFuneralHome.com.
