Mun Young Jones

Mun Young Jones, 88, of Portsmouth, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at SOMC Hospice.

She was born October 30, 1933, in Pyongyang, North Korea, a daughter of the late Park Song and Lee Syuk Kun.

Mun was a homemaker and a volunteer for Southern Ohio Medical Center for several years.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl D. Jones, November 1989.

Mun is survived by her Goddaughter, Hanna Moore of Portsmouth; and two grandchildren, Tiffany Crabtree and Shana Lawhorn.

Because she loved her home so much, a gathering of friends and family will be held at a later date. Her remains will be interred in Greenlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
