Deborah Jean Rideout

Deborah Jean Rideout, 71, of Franklin Furnace, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at her home. Deborah was born April 1, 1950 in Ironton, Ohio to the late Kenneth Ferrell and Edna Sanders Ferrell. Deborah worked in the Bakery at Kroger and she was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Lee Rideout, Jr. November 17, 2015, whom she married January 27, 1967 in McArthur, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Deborah Mae Shope. Deborah is survived by two sons, Lee (Tina) Rideout and Jonathan (Patricia) Rideout; a daughter, Doris Ellen Shope (Jerry); a sister, Rebecca Rice; twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Services for Deborah were held at 1:00 pm Monday, January 31, 2022 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Trevor Carver officiating. Interment was in Memorial Burial Park.
