Charlotte Jean Thompson

Charlotte Jean Thompson, 90, of Portsmouth, formerly of Lucasville, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, January 23, 2022, at the home of her daughter Pam.

She was born August 10, 1931, in Lucasville, a daughter of the late Robert and Frances Lundy Henry.

Jean was a homemaker and devout Pentecostal.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Thompson, December 17, 1989; her sister, Joyce Ann Marsh; and two sons-in-law, Gary Brown and Henry Coriell.

Jean is survived by one son, Russell “Sammy” (Diane) Thompson of Lucasville; two daughters, Ramona Jean “Kitty” Brown of Lucasville, and Pamela K. Coriell of Portsmouth; nine grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren; and 12 great greatgrandchildren; four brothers, Robert Henry of Lucasville, Michael Henry of Chicora, PA, Patrick Henry of Chicora, PA, and Ronnie Henry of Lucasville; two sisters, Rosemary Pettit and Emma Bell Easter, both of Lucasville.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:45 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022, in Scioto Burial Park with Jason Coriell officiating. Friends may call 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
