Daniel Lee Burk

Daniel Lee Burk, 63, of Sciotodale, died peacefully Monday, January 3, 2022, in his home surrounded by his family.  Born on October 21, 1958 in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late Charles and Evelyn Craiger Burk and was the manager for Randy’s Giovanni’s in South Shore.

Dan was a dance instructor, was a golfer, and thoroughly enjoyed his fantastic grandchildren.

Also preceding him in death were a son-in-law, Raymond Balzer, and a brother, David Burk.

Surviving are his wife, Sheila Hammond Burk, a son, Mark (Trisha) Manchester of Lucasville; two daughters, Kelli Balzer of Wheelersburg and Tiffany (Dale) Langley of Sciotodale; three brothers, Tom (Lisa) Burk of Florida, Ralph (Melinda) Burk of Wheelersburg and Charles (Tammie) Burk of Sciotodale; three sisters, Lolita Reese of Wheelersburg, Nancy (John) Howell of Franklin Furnace and Martha (Scot) Fenimore of TN; and eight fabulous grandchildren, Jordan Langley, Dylan Bond, Devin Burk, Destiny Burk, Sedona Balzer, Paisley Langley, Conner Manchester and Hudsen Manchester.

A service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 6th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Blaine Etterling officiating.

The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
