James Michael Lute

James Michael Lute, 32, of McDermott, started on a new journey that we pray will find him the peace he so longed for here on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.

James was born on February 24, 1989. He attended Northwest High School.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Lute of Lucasville; a niece, Charlie Love of Nashville, TN.; and grandparents, Paul and Katherine Aberdean Lute of Lucasville.

He is survived by his mother, Debra K. Lute of Portsmouth; two sisters, Kathryn M. Lute of Portsmouth and Rachel M. Elrod of Nashville, TN; grandparents Pamela Gilliam of Sandusky, OH and Wess Smith of Minford; and 10 nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

James loved and appreciated the beautiful things in nature and especially loved to fish.

He was a great brother, son, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend to many, and he will forever be greatly missed.

Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville. There will be no viewing and immediate  family will conduct a private service at a later date.
