Clifford O. Jenkins, Jr.

Clifford O. Jenkins, Jr., 83 of Minford passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at his home in Minford. He was born on May 5, 1938 to the late Clifford and Mary Lea Payne Jenkins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Cleo Dale Jenkins and sister, Ida Lou Wright. Clifford graduated from Minford High School in 1956 and retired from the Scioto County School system. He attended and was a member of Minford Bible Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Esther Purdy Jenkins; two sons, Darren Jenkins of Sciotoville, David (Jamie) Jenkins of Minford; two sisters, Alice Elizabeth Bauer, Mary Susan Canter; four grandchildren, Devin Jenkins, Darbie (JD) Widdig, Levi Jenkins, Seth Jenkins, and three great grandchildren, Daxton, Ashlyn and Declan.

The family would like to thank the caregivers of Heartland Hospice Home Healthcare for their love and care, especially Joe and nurse, Amy.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Monday, December 20, 2021 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Brett McGraw officiating. Burial will be at Bennett Cemetery in Minford.
