Augusta M. Childers

Augusta M. Childers, 95 of Fostoria, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Fostoria Promedica Hospital. She was born August 16, 1926 in Lucasville, Ohio to Roy & Goldie (Salyers) Estep. She married Roy Childers July 13, 1952 and he passed Feb. 23, 1998.

 

She is survived by her son David (Bertha) Childers & daughter Marla Fugett both of Fostoria,

7 grandchildren, many great grandchildren & 1 great great grandson.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son James Childers, brother Charles Estep, sister Betty Thacker & grandson Lee Fugett.

 

Augusta retired from Ex-Cello in Fostoria and was a graduate of Lucasville High School.

 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 23, 2021 at

1:00 p.m. at the Edwin-Dodson-Allen funeral home, Minford, Ohio.

Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery, near Minford, Ohio.

 

Memorials can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
