William Thomas Walters

William Thomas Walters, 80, of Portsmouth, died Monday, November 8, 2021 at Portsmouth Health and Rehab.  Bill was born May 18, 1941 in Portsmouth to the late Shelby L. Walters and Evelyn (Reed) Walters.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Walters, and a sister, Marie Evans.

Bill was a veteran of the United States Army and worked in construction.

Bill is survived by his children; David Walters (Bobbie Jo), Joseph Walters, Tammy Arthur, and Rhonda McGuire (Shane), all of Waverly, a brother, Jack Walters, of Eaton, twelve grandchildren; David Walters, Jr., Karen Walters, Brittany Walters, Andy Walters, Derrick Walters, Tiffany Walters, Kenneth Vaughn, Amy Jordan, Jeffrey Howard, Tyler Walters, Kayla Stevens, and Kenneth Stevens, thirty great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, including a very special cousin, Debbie Gambill and her husband Jim, of Otway.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Hoffer Hill Cemetery in Rarden with Chaplain Larry Moore officiating.
