Ricky R. Cook

Ricky R. Cook, 61, of South Webster passed away Friday October 29, 2021 at Southern Ohio Medical Center surrounded by family and friends.
He is survived by three stepdaughters, Melissa (Tony) Cook who took great care of him for the past seven years, Alberta Cook and Kimberly Plummer all of Portsmouth; two brothers, Everette W. Cook Jr. of New Boston and Everette (Carla) Cook III of Portsmouth; sisters, Loretta Hubbard of Portsmouth and Edith (Larry) Davis of Jackson; eight grandchildren, Kayla (Steve), Amanda (Frankie), Heather (BJ), Cassi (Tyre), Timothy, Jacob, Eli and Kearra; great grandchildren, Hannah, Hayden, Italy, Maesyn, Caesyn, Grayson, Kenzy, Timmy, Taylyn, Franklin, Gabe, Ky-Lynn. Many neices and nephews and a special nephew Edward Cook who helped him tremendously over the years.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linnie Cook; mother, Margaret Elswick Cook; father Everette W. Cook Sr; brothers, James Cook, Albert Cook and Leslie Cook; sisters, Grace Stamper, Catherine Houston and Geneva Cook; stepdaughters, Mindy Cook and Margaret Houston.
Ricky loved hunting with his coon dogs and fishing every chance he got. He will be truly missed by all.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Tuesday Novenber 2, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with burial to follow at Scioto Furnace Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 6 to 8 PM and Tuesday 2 to 3 PM at the funeral home.
