Judith Colleen Aeh Cutlip

Judith Colleen Aeh Cutlip, 88 of Salisbury, NC, a longtime Portsmouth resident, passed away April 11, 2020, in Salisbury. She was born December 7, 1931, in Franklin Furnace, a daughter of the late Kenneth William Aeh and Helen Louise Ferguson Aeh Journey.

A homemaker, Judy was a 1949 graduate of Portsmouth High School and she had worked in sales, banking and had done clerical work. She enjoyed attending First Baptist Church in Salisbury and she sang in the choir when she attended First Christian Church in Portsmouth. In various times during her life, she loved sewing, cooking, baking and walking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Jack A. Cutlip on September 19, 1988.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sarah Cutlip Wales and husband Daniel of Salisbury; a granddaughter, Hannah Colleen Wales of Salisbury; and a great-granddaughter, Kinsley Dakota Phillips.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 P.M. Friday at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Dennis Dawes, minister, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 P.M. until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Scioto Cemetery.
