Phyllis Jean Ehrler

Phyllis Jean Ehrler, 78, of Lucasville, was called home, Friday, August 20, 2021, at SOMC Hospice.

She was born March 18, 1943, in Lucasville, a daughter of the late Lilburn and Ollie Gee Hall.

Phyllis was a homemaker, member of the Candy Run United Baptist Church, and a 1961 Valley High School graduate. Phyllis was a proud Black Belt of Karate.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leigh Ehrler, August 13, 2010; grandson Brandon; a brother Roger Hall; and a sister, Nancy Rosier.

Phyllis is survived by two sons, Lilburn (Tawnya) Ehrler of Rubyville and Thomas (Yores) Ehrler of Lucasville; her daughter, Betty (Allen) Dingess of Kentucky; five grandchildren, Timothy, Theo, Chanelle, Andrea, Siera, and Shyann; and one brother, Robert (Linda) Hall of Lucasville.

A Memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Candy Run United Baptist Church with Arvil Murray Jr. officiating. Friends may call at the church from 4 to 5 p.m. Private burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
