Pamela Sue Schopieray

Pamela Sue Schopieray, 58, of Mansfield, formerly of Portsmouth went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Ohio Health in Mansfield.  Pamela was born on December 6, 1962 in Portsmouth to the late Conrad and Carol (Williams) Nagel.  She worked at The Ohio State University campus in Mansfield for 30 years.  Pamela was a very athletic person and loved enjoying nature while biking, hiking and swimming.  She and her husband enjoyed many hiking adventures in national parks to such places as, the Great Smokie Mountains and the Poconos among many other great national parks throughout the country.

Pamela is survived by her husband, Michael Schopieray; her mother, Carol Nagel of Portsmouth; two sons, Joshua Charles Leonard of Westerville and Shawn Schopieray and girlfriend Jennifer Linville; one daughter, Montana Schopieray of Mansfield; two brothers, Tim Nagel and wife Charity of McDermott, and Steve Nagel of New Boston; one sister, Cindy Litteral of Wheelersburg; nieces, Kelly Lopez, Cindy Brown, Melissa Nagel and Emily Nagel; nephews, Ethan Nagel and Jacob Nagel; one grand niece, Morgan Brown.

There will be a visitation Friday, August 6, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME WOLFE NELSON CHAPEL in Sciotoville, Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. and the funeral service will be held at 1:00 on Friday.  Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery.  Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickFuneralHome.com.
