John Carl Vinson, III

John Carl Vinson, III 79 of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, formerly of Franklin Furnace, passed away on June 25, 2021 in Kings Daughters Medical Center.

Mr. Vinson was born October 12, 1941 in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was

the son of the late John and Garnet Davis Vinson.

He was a member of Cannonsburg Trinity United Methodist Church,

an employee of Ashland Oil and served his country honorably for 25 years

in the United States Military.

Survivors include his wife Nancy Seeley Vinson, one son, three

daughters, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one brother.

Services will be held at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, East with full

military honors.
