Charles Edward Lee Sadler

Charles Edward Lee Sadler, 39, of West Portsmouth, died Monday, July 19, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.

He was born March 4, 1982 in Portsmouth to William and Barbara (Bricker) Sadler. He worked in the tree trimming business, loved to go fishing, and loved to sing.

In addition to his parents, Charlie is survived by two sons, Chucky Sadler of West Portsmouth and Isiah Sadler of Aberdeen, a daughter, Emma Sadler of Aberdeen,  two brothers, William Sadler of West Portsmouth and Joshua Sadler (Stephanie) of West Portsmouth, a sister, Angel Sadler of West Portsmouth, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 26, 2021 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth, with Chaplin Daron Lilly officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

A visitation for friends and family will be on Sunday from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home, and again on Monday morning, one h
