Patricia M. Pitts

Patricia M. Pitts, 66, of Minford passed away Tuesday July 13, 2021 at Southern Ohio Medical Center’s emergency room. She was born December 26, 1954 in Hamilton County a daughter of the late Dewey and Georgia Heart Smith. She was a graduate of Fayetteville High School, enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing and spending time with her children. She formerly worked at Walmart, IGA in Minford, the Air Port restaurant and the American restaurant.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Dennis Pitts; three sons, Eddie Woods and Jeremy Woods both of Minford and Thomas Woods of Portsmouth; two stepsons, Justin Pitts and Jami Pitts both of Tennessee; two daughters, Leslie Mohr of Portsmouth and Laura Pope of Greenup, KY; three brothers, Ed Smith of Indiana, Lucky Smith of Mt. Orib and Mark Smith of Portsmouth; three sisters, Joanie Shorts of Seaman, Geannie Terry and Robbin Shope both of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Gage, Perry, Tavern, Shelby, Brooklyn, Phillip, Christopher, Cody, Alex, Seth, Lillian, Starr, Zach, Si, Mia, Savannah, Cloe, Riley, Natalie and Caleb.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Danny Shope, a sister Rickie Clausing and grandchild, Latissa.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday July 19, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with interment to follow at Pinkerman Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12 Noon to 1 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to DWSwickFuneralHome.com.
