Lowell Thomas Roof

Lowell Thomas Roof, 74, of Sciotoville passed away Wednesday May 12, 2021 at his residence. He was born September 13, 1944 in Scioto County a son of the late Everett and Hattie (Adkins) Roof. He was a 1964 graduate of Bloom Vernon High School and was a member of the American Legion.  He enjoyed playing golf, bingo and loved to play the banjo, guitar and many other instruments.

Lowell is survived by two daughters, Missy (Steve) Cunningham and Tina McGraw (Lucas) all of South Webster; a sister, Linda (Jim) Dowdy of Wheelersburg; seven grandchildren, Hannah, Caleb, Molly, Olivia, Aiden, Laken and Cade; and two step-grandchildren, Makalyn and Cody; two nieces, Vanessa and Sherry.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 AM Monday May 17, 2021 followed by the funeral service at 11 AM at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (Wolfe Nelson Chapel) in Sciotoville with Pastor James Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Haverhill Cemetery with Military honors by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion.
