Timothy Adam Long

Timothy Adam Long, 37, of Lucasville, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia due to injuries sustained in an ATV accident.  He was born on November 8, 1983 in Portsmouth to Timothy Lynn Delong and Phyllis Long Kidder.  He is survived by his children; Kylie Long, Cole Long and Aubrey Long all of Adams County, whom he loved dearly; three sisters, Tabatha DeLotell and her husband Chris of Portsmouth, Ashley Wood of Portsmouth and Amanda Craft and her husband Bradley of Portsmouth; one brother, Timothy Delong, II of Columbus; his grandmother, Audrey Delong of Rarden; his uncle Freddie Taylor and his wife Stephanie of Tennessee and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, many friends and his special canine friend Scruffy.  Timothy was preceded in death by one son, Austin Long; his uncle, Terry Long, Sr.; his stepfather, James Kidder and his great grandmother, Ruth McKinley.

Tim was an avid outdoors fan, he loved to hunt, go fishing and ride 4 wheelers.  He thoroughly enjoyed life.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 6:30 P.M. at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Pastor Delbert Copas officiating.  The family will receive friends from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm at the funeral home.
