Joyce E. Pierce

Joyce E. Pierce, 77, of Wheelersburg passed away Wednesday April 21, 2021. She was born March 3, 1944 in Pauldine, OH a daughter of the late George and Bertha Fannin Lawson.
She was a member of Stoney Run Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Joyce is survived by a son, Kenneth Pierce and wife Connie of Marion, Janet Wilbur of Hamden and Debra Madison and husband Robert of Wheelersburg; a sister Helena Dawson of Oak Hill; 12 grandchildren, Ashley Wilbur, Kimburly Wilbur, Ryan Wilbur, Michael Wilbur, Shirley Wilbur, Jennifer Wilbur, Heather Hill, Missy Pierce, Ashley (Wesley) Higgins, Nicole Pierce, Chelsea Pierce and Katlyn Britton; 9 great-grandchildren and several other stepbrothers and sisters. She was also preceded in death by her husband Kenneth E. Pierce Sr.; sisters, Louise Holsinger, Mary Sharp, Sylena Hilt; brothers George, Virgil and Eugene Lawson and Tommy Simpson; nieces Wanda Wilburn and Irene Barnett.
Services will be Monday April 26, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with interment to follow at Butler Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12 Noon to 1 PM at the funeral home.
