Bonnie Stamper

Bonnie Stamper, 84, of Portsmouth, formerly of Lucasville, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
She was born February 17, 1937 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Jonah and Daisy Buckler James.
Bonnie was a retired Home-Based Teacher for CAO Head Start for 33 years.
She was also preceded in death by two children, Wilburn Stamper Jr., and Roxanne Stamper; four brothers, Jim, Kenny, Paul, and George James; and three sisters, Maxine Winchester, Ruby Skaggs, and Wanda Otworth.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Robert Stamper of Portsmouth, Kathy Howell of Portsmouth, Patty Stamper of Lucasville, David (Connie) Stamper of Lucasville, Teresa (Joey) Thayer of Lucasville, Sandy (Yanes) Gonzalez of Columbus, and Olivia Stamper of Portsmouth; many grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in Lucasville Cemetery with George Vastine officiating. Friends may call from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
