Ronda Tway Pauley
Ronda Tway Pauley, 70, of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at her home. She was born August 5, 1950 in Pike County, Ohio to the late Rollin and Marjorie Householder Tway. On October 14, 1982 she was united in marriage to Chris Pauley who survives. Also surviving are a son, Joshua Oyer of Chillicothe; a daughter, Jessica Pauley Lauderman and husband Scott of Cincinnati, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Lasci (Erik) Addy, Madison, Hope, Tyler, Christian and Grayson Oyer, and Harper Lauderman; a great granddaughter, Piper Addy; a brother, Ted Tway of Chillicothe; and a special cousin, Stephanie Krupla of Jeffersonville, Ohio. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Tway and a sister, Mary Tway.
Ronda was a retired school teacher from the Huntington Local School District. She was also a published author of young adult fiction. She owned Old Homestead Farm Market on Blain Highway with her husband Chris. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and fishing. Ronda was known as being the sweetest person and the “light in the room” to anyone that knew her.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly. Burial will follow in Huntington Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org.
