Donna Lou Willis

Donna Lou Willis, 90, formerly of Franklin Furnace, passed away Sunday January 3, 2021 at Hillview Retirement Center in Portsmouth. She was born September 2, 1930 in Scioto County to the late Lawson and Ethel (Linkous) Burke. Donna graduated from East High School in Sciotoville. She attended the First Church of Christ and it was the main thing in her life. She enjoyed reading her Bible and puttering in the yard. The family requests memorial donations be made to her church.

Donna is survived by nephews, Dennis Stevens and wife Jane of Portsmouth, Robert Stevens and wife Helyn of Masontown, PA; a niece, Joy Kirsch of Stout and several other nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Willis whom she married on December 13, 1963 and a sister, Wanda Stevens.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday January 7, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace with Pastors Sam Cook and Rase Martin officiating.
