Doris L. Jividen

Doris L. Jividen, 92, died peacefully at home Thursday, December 24, 2020. Born January 26, 1928, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Emile; parents Fred and Hazel Casto; brothers Arden, Fredrick, Donald; and sister, Norma.

Doris is survived by son, David Jividen, (and special friend Iva Brown); Jim, (Elaine), Jividen; Sue, (Kelly), O’Leary; and Dan, (Sherry), Jividen. Also surviving are grandchildren Shelley Wagner, Keri Conkel, Darrell Jividen, Ryan O’Leary, Erin Noe, Max Jividen, Tori Proehl, Grady Jividen, Sean Varney, and Josh Varney. In addition, Doris is survived by 15 great-grandchildren.

Doris loved children and cherished the time she spent with hers and countless others. Doris was an active member of Wheelersburg United Methodist Church and a former Eastern Star member.

Under the direction of Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home, a private service will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, Jan 3, 2021 with burial 10:00 am Monday, Jan 4, 2021. Due to COVID19, both services will be limited to immediate family only.
