Rosella Jean Phipps

Rosella Jean Phipps, 80, of Piketon, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus.
She was born February 24, 1940 in New Boston, a daughter of the late Edward and Eva Duzan Pendleton.
Rose was the former owner and operator of Little Bit of Country Tanning Salon and a member of the Big Run United Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Phipps, December 9, 2003; and a brother, Bob Pendleton.
Rose is survived by one son, Tim (Becky) Phipps of Thornville; four daughters, Linda (Steve) Beck, Martha Montgomery, Debbie (Kevin) Burton, and Denise (Kevin) Blanton all of Lucasville; 13 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Pendleton of Mansfield; and two sisters, Sue Gregory of New Boston and Janet Francis of Ocala, Florida.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Big Run Cemetery with Kelly and Marvin Carver officiating. Friends may call 12:30 to 2:30 Tuesday at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
