Ella Hall

Ella Nora Hall of Beaver, Ohio passed away at her residence of 36 years surrounded by her family at the age of 77 years on October 16, 2020.Ella was born July 17, 1943 in Martin, Kentucky to the late Johnas and Victoria Rodgers White who preceded her in death. Also proceeding her in death are three brothers, Matt, Edward & Pete White and two sisters: Margie Hall and Myrtle Riley

She is survived by one brother, Clyde White of Freemont, Ohio; one sister, Goldie Leedy of Beaver, Ohio; two daughters, Cynthia Lewis and Jeri Gates both of Beaver, Ohio; two grandsons, Jaime Lewis of Columbus, Ohio and Jack (Shasta) Lewis of Beaver, Ohio, three granddaughters, Trisha and Elisha Ward, of Cincinnati, Ohio and Tonisha Sparks of Portsmouth, Ohio; special niece: Vickie Neal of Beaver, Ohio and her life-companion, Darrel Gillenwater She leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, great grandchildren and special friends that were very dear to her heart and will cherish all the memories that were made together.

Ella was a homemaker that enjoyed time with her family and friends. She enjoyed family holidays and celebrations especially during the Christmas season which was her favorite time of the year. Ella enjoyed watching her Sunday NASCAR races every week with her family and life companion. She was so full of life and energy and will be missed by all.

The family welcomes close friends and family to join them at Elm Grove Church of Christ at 8155 Chenoweth Fork Rd, Piketon, Ohio 45661 for an overnight wake beginning Monday, October 19th at 5:00PM. We ask that all visitors adhere to statewide mandates regarding social distancing and wearing self-sourced masks while inside the church.

Funeral services for close friends and family will take place at Elm Grove Church on Tuesday, October 20th at 11:00AM, officiated by Scott Judge, Minister. A graveside service will take place afterward at 1:00PM at McCune Cemetery near Jackson.

Due to the rural route to the cemetery, a precession will not take place. We ask that all attendees who would like to continue to the cemetery following the morning funeral service, plan to gather there at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flower arrangements, the family would ask that you consider donating funds to cover the cost of funeral expenses payable directly to the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in the name of Ella Nora Hall. Any amount is considered generous and helpful.
