Judy Ann Chapman

Judy Ann (Conkel) Chapman, 70, of Jasper Road, Piketon, Ohio, went to be with the Lord, Thursday April 23, 2015 after a prolonged illness. She was born July 13, 1944 in Portsmouth, Ohio, daughter of the late Everett and Madge Childers Conkel. Judy was united in marriage to Donald Chapman for 50 years, who survives. Also surviving is a son, Donald R. Chapman and wife Jennifer of Iberia, Ohio, a daughter, Melissa Chapman of Piketon; four grandchildren, Miranda Brewster and husband Tyler of Piketon, Brady, Savannah and Kamry Chapman of Iberia, and a great grandson, Jensen Brewster; four sisters, Dorothy Doss of Lucasville, Ohio, Helen Conkel of Lucasville, Geraldine McKenzie and husband Wilbur of Orient, Ohio, Marilyn Adkins and husband Jim of Minford, Ohio, and three brothers, Ralph Conkel and wife Judy of Minford, Leo Conkel of Columbus, Ohio and Jim Conkel of Lucasville. In addition to her parents, a son Darin R. Chapman and two brothers, Michael and Fred Conkel preceded Judy in death. Judy was a former employee of Kroger in Waverly, Ohio and was a member of the Body of Christ. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday April 27, 2015 at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly, with Jeff Davis officiating.
