Truman Robert Boldman
Truman Robert “Rob” Boldman, 54, of Van Crabtree Road, Lucasville, Ohio, died Sunday July 3, 2016 at the SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born March 8, 1962 in West Union, Ohio, son of Roberta Godwin Doseck of Otway, Ohio and the late Truman Boldman. On March 18, 1994, Rob was united in marriage to Sandra Dee Crabtree Boldman who survives. Also surviving is a brother, Monty “Mack” Taylor of Otway; brother-in-law, Mark Crabtree of Lucasville; three sisters-in-law, Tina (Randy) Mosley of Lucasville, Patty (Rodney) Brown of Beaver, Ohio and Doris Crabtree of McDermott, Ohio; Mother-in-law, Ida Chambliss of Lucasville, father-in-law, Rodney (Kathy) Crabtree of Lucasville; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, as well as special friends, Henry Riley and Bill Moore with whom he went to the races. In addition to his father, Rob was preceded in death by his grandmother, (who raised him) Nellie Godwin.
Rob was a former maintenance man for Columbus Galvanizing, An avid Nascar fan and attended Bear Creek united Methodist Church, Lucasville.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday July 7, 2016 at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway, with Pastor Frances Newman officiating. Burial will follow in Rockwell Cemetery, Lucasville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Thursday.
