Verlon Mullett
Verlon Mullett, 66, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at Adena-Pike Medical Center in Waverly. He was born December 23, 1953 in Williamson, West Virginia to the late Simon Peter Mullett and Martha Esther Thompson Mullett. He is survived by two sons, Jason Mullett of Oak Hill, Ohio and Gary Mullett of Piketon, Ohio; brothers, Robert Mullett of Lucasville, Ohio, James Mullett of Waverly, Fred Mullett of New Vienna, Ohio, and Jack Mullett of Friendship, Ohio; sisters, Helen Simmons of Winchester, Tennessee, Shelby Click of Waverly, Mary Conrad of Ivydale, West Virginia, Jaqueline Rinehart of Ashville, Ohio, Sheila Scott of Londonderry, Ohio and Shirley Purshing of Gahanna, Ohio; and grandchildren, Emily, Gary Jr. and Clayton. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Kathy Lynn Mullett; brothers, Curtis, Gary and David Mullett; and sisters, Minerva Epling and Betty Mullett.
Verlon was a retired computer programmer.
A private graveside service will be held Friday at Mound Cemetery in Piketon with Rev. Desmond Risner officiating. Services are under the direction of Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.
