Zachary P Howard, 18, of Piketon, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020. He was born May 21, 2001 in Chillicothe, Ohio son of Chester Paul Howard of Piketon and Kristin Durham Howard and Jeremie Beekman of Piketon. Also surviving are grandparents, Tom and Robin Durham of Piketon, Vesta “Tiny” Howard of Piketon, Charles Woolridge of Piketon, Paul and Susan Howard of Claxton, Georgia, Rob and Teressa Smith of Piketon, and a great grandmother, Myrtle Moore of Register, Georgia; sisters, Courtney Marie Howard and Emily Woolridge of Piketon; step sisters, Vanessa (Cole) Clark, Shawnee Beekman (Ronnie Bolen) and Kynton Beekman all of Piketon; aunts and uncles, Danny and Tonya Dean, Jacob Durham and Shelley Lallier, Bobby and Lisa Caplinger, and CJ and Amanda Woolridge; cousins, Paige, Madison and Izzy Dean, Luke and Abby Lintz and Surrayah Woolridge; a nephew Bryson Wayne Bolen; and his girlfriend, Kristiana McDaniel. He was preceded in death by his best friend, Chris Rhoden.
Zachary was a member of VICA/Skills USA at the Pike County Career Technology Center. He was a member of the NRA and was employed at Bill’s Bait House in Waverly.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Tim Marhoover officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery in Piketon. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses.
